The multi-billion dollar cosmetic industry thrives solely on the perennial human desire to look young and attractive. That said, wrinkles on your skin can prove to be the worst nightmare come true. There are scores of anti-aging products sold over the counter that claim to reverse the trend, however they provide little, if at all any, succor. There are some home tips though that can go a long way in fighting that eternal adversary called time.


The first step is to say a big no to all skin products that have a high chemical composition. Go for herbal ones instead that are gentle on your skin. Better still; go for the original ingredients rather than products based on them. Eggs are excellent for sagging skin. Apply egg whites on your face, especially under the eyes and leave it on for an hour. Wash off with warm water and follow it up with a gentle toner. Repeat this daily. Another effective remedy is coconut oil. Nothing else works better in nourishing your skin and fighting sagging.


Turmeric too is a great anti-aging product. Ground turmeric mixed with sugarcane should be applied evenly on to the skin and left for an hour. Repeat this on a biweekly basis and you will start to see the difference. A mixture of honey and olive oil too comes in handy. For best results, this mixture should be applied and left on for the night. Alternately, simmer rosemary leaves in water for about half an hour. Add a half cup of brandy and strain the mixture. Store it and use it to wipe your skin twice a day. This treatment can have telling effects in a few weeks.


Seedless green grapes too are an excellent cure. Crush them directly on to the wrinkles, leave for about twenty minute and rinse with warm water. Rubbing the core of a pineapple on the skin and leaving it for about half an hour also helps. Extreme caution is advised when in the sun as direct sunlight can have devastating effects on the skin. Cover yourself as much as possible and apply a gentle sunscreen lotion with SPF protection on the face and hands before stepping out.


Milk cream is yet another remedy. Apply a coat of it on the skin and leave it on for at least half an hour. Repeat this daily to stem the sagging considerably. Additionally, regularly massage your skin softly in the upward direction. This improves circulation and helps your skin to remain taut.
