Home Remedies For Red Skin Bumps On Forehead
Skin Care Tips For Red Skin Bumps
The skin bumps can occur due to several reasons – allergy, infection, or some other skin condition. Unless the symptoms are studied in detail it is very difficult to tell what could be the cause of these skin bumps. The best thing for you would be to consult a dermatologist and get a proper diagnosis and medical treatment.
In the meantime, here are some steps you can follow to take better care of your skin.
- Clean your skin regularly with mild soap and water. Be gentle and do not rub the skin too rigorously as it may cause further deterioration of the affected area. Also, be careful about the cosmetics you use as the chemicals in the cosmetics can sometimes be unsuitable for your skin. If any product irritates your skin or causes any other problem, you should replace it immediately.
- Protect your skin from direct sunlight and the pollution in the air. Wear protective clothing when you have to go out in direct sunlight. Before going out, you should apply on your skin a sunscreen lotion with appropriate sun protection factor (SPF).
- Every night before going to sleep, wash your face with water mixed with apple cider vinegar. You can also use aloe vera gel to wash your face every night. Tea tree oil can also be used as an effective cleanser.
- Use a face scrub at regular intervals to peel off the dead skin. According to your skin type you can prepare a face scrub at home. For example, if you have oily skin, you can use a face scrub prepared by mixing gram powder and yoghurt. For dry skin, you can prepare a face scrub by mixing almond (soaked overnight in water and grinded into a paste) and honey. Apply these scrubs on your face, let them dry, and then wash off with water.
- Avoid using heavy make-up for a prolonged period as it can clog the skin pores. Ensure that you remove your make-up before going to bed. Wash your face properly after you remove your make-up.
- Eat healthy food and drink plenty of water throughout the day. You should include fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and cereals in your diet. Avoid having oily and spicy foods as far as possible. Drink adequate amount of water to flush out toxins from your body and to keep your skin hydrated. However, avoid aerated drinks and alcoholic beverages.
