Egg Yolk
Egg yolk comes in very handy here. Massage your scalp gently with egg yolk, leave it on for an hour or two and then wash off with a gentle shampoo. Repeat this on a bi-weekly basis to maximize results. Another excellent cure is castor oil, a natural oil believed to aid hair growth best. Apply castor oil on your scalp and hair roots (not on the strands), wrap you hair with a newspaper and then tie it with a cloth. Leave this on overnight and wash in the morning. Repeat this every week and in a few weeks time, you will start to see visible results. Olive oil rubbed on to the scalp regularly also stops hair loss, though it is not very useful in regrowing lost hair.
Fenugreek
Fenugreek also helps. Soak it in water overnight and massage the liquid on to the scalp in the morning. Tie your hair with a cloth and leave it on for three hours. Repeat this daily to expedite results. Rosemary leaves are also believed to help in hair regrowth. Boil them in water for a long time, strain and use the liquid to wash your hair and scalp regularly. Alternately, you can also spray rose water on to the scalp every morning.
Coconut Oil And Other Supplements
In most cases hair loss is due to a weak and unhealthy scalp. In such situations, massaging your scalp with coconut oil helps. To better the results, heat the oil with petals of the hibiscus flower. Yet another remedy is a mixture of various leaves like peach, pomegranate and buckthorn. Grind these leaves with henna and olive oil and cool the mixture after boiling it. After straining it, apply on the scalp before you go to bed and leave it on for the night. A few weeks of this treatment will actually show significant hair regrowth in most cases.
Diet And Vitamins
Most importantly, maintain a very healthy and balanced diet. Eat a lot of leafy vegetables to supplement your diet with essential vitamins and minerals. Also, consume a lot of nuts, especially almonds which are rich in magnesium.
