Ear Wax Removal – How To Clean Your Ear In Natural Way

Remove Ear Wax Naturally

There are a number of causes that can be held responsible for ear blockages. Causes range from a foreign body damaging the ear, to an infection and even the possibility of a tumor. The most common cause, however, is ear wax. The human ear is designed marvelously in that it has a natural process of cleansing and protecting itself. On the outer canal of the ear are a set of glands. These glands secrete a wax which, being a sticky substance, will trap any dust and other foreign particles and stop them from entering the inner regions of the ear. A times, we use foreign objects like cotton swabs to clean the ears. However, this has the potential to do more harm than good and actually pushes the wax lower down the ear canal instead of cleaning it. With this constant buildup, there could be a blockage in the ear preventing a person from complete audio perception. If the blockage is caused by an ear infection, you would be better served by trying to treat the underlying cause and not just the symptom. Once the underlying infection has been cured, in all probability, so will the blockage in the ear be resolved.

A few tips to help with the removal of the blockage in the ear are: using an eyedropper, place a few drops of hydrogen peroxide inside your ear. In a few minutes, you should hear a crackling noise which would indicate that the blockage is being cleared. To remove the solution as well as the impurities that were inside your ear, just tilt your head to one side. The solution and dirt will all flow out due to the gravitational force of the earth. If you have a hard time getting hold of hydrogen peroxide, you could use a solution of 1 part vinegar and 1 part water instead. A few drops of garlic juice can help cure an ear infection effectively. For getting rid of water present in the Eustachian tube, you can use a blow dryer at a low level of operation; make sure that it is held at least 17 – 20 inches away from the ear. It is important to remember that you should not put olive oil into an ear that is paining as it could possibly make it worse. You could also remove ear blockage caused by wax with the help of paraffin oil. Warm about 2 teaspoons of the same to a little over body temperature. Using an eyedropper, insert a few drops into the ear and lie down for 5 minutes. Then drain your ear by tilting it to a position where the affected ear faces the ground.
