Herbal Acne Remedies – Herbal Recipes For Acne And Pimples
Exactly What Cause Acne
Acne is one of the most feared conditions amongst teenagers today. And despite the amount of tips you will hear, like don’t eat too much chocolate or don’t eat any fried food’s, there’s not really all that much a person can do to stop acne from appearing. Acne is a sign of growing up and is bound to happen. Some even face it well into their late twenties. When acne forms, you will notice blackheads, whiteheads and sometimes pimples all over the skin on your face. Below the layers of the skin, lie a set of glands called sebaceous glands. These glands produce natural oils that are vital for your body and skin. These oils will help protect your skin as well as moisturize it. The oil is called sebum and is supplied to the upper layers of the skin through small pores located in the skin. With the pollution in the air, it is possible that particles of dirt enter these pores and cause a blockage in some. While there is a blockage in the pore, the sebaceous glands will continue to produce sebum which will start to build up behind the blockage. It is also highly likely that this sebum will react with the particle causing the blockage and create an infection. On the surface of the skin, this blockage will start to look like a pimple. Most of the time, a person is tempted to proactively burst the pimple without thinking about the long term effects this might have. Not only will bursting a pimple increase the possibility of lifetime scars, it will also allow the infection now contained behind the blockage to burst and spread over a larger portion of the skin, giving rise to an outbreak of acne over the newly infected area.
