Facial Hair Removal For Women – Get Rid Of Facial Hair With Simple Home Remedies

Hair Removal For Face

Excessive hair on the face, technically called hirsutism, is a problem that some women face due to hormonal changes or imbalances during puberty or pregnancy, intake of certain steroids or hormone pills, irregularity in periods and menopause. Hereditary factors and stress may also sometimes cause hirsutism. Women naturally have finer and softer facial hair than men, but when this hair turns dense and coarse, it may become a cause of embarrassment. There are several mechanical and chemical means of removing unwanted facial hair, such as shaving, threading, waxing, plucking, bleaching, hair removal creams, electrolysis and laser treatment. However, in the long run these methods may damage the delicate skin cells of the face.

It is useful, therefore, to follow a few simple home remedies to treat this condition. One of the most popular natural ways of getting rid of facial hair is to add a teaspoon of sugar into two teaspoons of lemon juice and a little water and apply this solution on the affected areas. Leave it on till it dries naturally and then wash the area gently with water. Follow this process daily to bring about a significant reduction in the density and darkness of facial hair in a few weeks. You may also mix equal portions of lemon juice and honey and massage your face with this paste for about 5 minutes every day, and then let it dry for 15 minutes before washing it away with water. For another remedy, mix equal portions of gram flour and powdered turmeric in two tablespoons of curd and blend all the ingredients into a thick consistent paste. Now apply this paste on the affected areas moving your fingertips in gentle circular motions. Let the paste dry for around 10 minutes and then wash it away with water. Follow this remedy at least twice a week to get rid of unwanted facial hair. Another effective face mask that helps remove facial hair naturally is a thick paste made by mixing one teaspoon of sugar and half a teaspoon of corn flour in one egg white. Apply this mask on your face once every week. You could also mix some turmeric powder in half a cup of cold milk and massage this solution on to your skin 15 minutes before going to bed every night. Once the skin begins to feel dry, wash your face with water and pat it dry.
