These oils when massaged into the skin help in reducing dry skin. Those who suffer from dry skin around their eyes should avoid splashing them with warm water. Preferably use cool to lukewarm water to wash the face, especially the eye region. Another remedy involves using some ripe banana. Apply this over the area that is dry and leave it for a while. It will in curing the dry skin. One can even try making a very effective mixture out of egg yolk, some olive oil drops, a teaspoon of orange juice and a few drops of fresh rose water. Apply this pack over the dry skin and keep it for 15 to 20 minutes. Then proceed to wash this off with some lukewarm water. One can even try making a mixture of some fresh cream milk along with some rose water and some lime juice and applying this all over the dry skin area. This will help in reducing the dryness. Castor oil and avocado oil are also considered highly beneficial in treating dry skin. Simply rub this into the skin and leave it over night. Exercising regularly is also considered beneficial in treating a condition of dry skin. One should also drink plenty of fluids and water to help in keeping one’s skin well hydrated and nourished. Another simple and effective home remedy is to try applying some pea nut butter on the dry skin. It serves as an effective lubricant in replacing the lost oils from the skin. One can even apply some fresh honey on to the skin that is dry. One should have a diet that is rich in fruits, nuts and vegetables.
