Get Rid Of Pimples | Tips To Quickly Reduce Pimple Redness
Almost every one of us has experienced the problem at least once in our lives. You’re waiting for the big day to arrive, all ready to look your best, and then just the day before the event, you wake up with a pimple. How do you get rid of it within 24 hours? The answer, although you may not like it, is that there is no way to get rid of a pimple that quickly, and a lot of methods that claim to make a pimple vanish will leave you with some rather ugly inflammation in the short term, and a scar or a dark spot in the long term. The best way to hide your pimple is to use concealer. If you are not sure how to cover up the pimple or you find that you’re only making things work, don’t waste time over it – go down to the beauty parlor and get a professional to do the job.
However, this of course will be done just before you go off to attend your grand event, and the concealer will certainly not do a 100 per cent effective job, especially if there is inflammation. Therefore, in the time you have before you start to get ready, there are a few things you can do to make the pimple less noticeable. Remember – these measures will not get rid of the pimple, they will only prevent it from drawing too much attention.

Home Remedies To Get Rid Of Pimples Redness Fast
- One common quick remedy for a pimple is applying a small amount of toothpaste directly on to the pimple. However, be careful with this – the ingredients from some toothpastes can dry out your skin or leave it with a kind of chemical burn if left on for several hours, as is sometimes recommended. Instead, leave the toothpaste on the pimple for no more than an hour, and then wash it off very gently.
- A much safer remedy is to simply take an ice cube and gently hold it against the area where the pimple is. This is particularly effective if there is inflammation. The ice will cool down the area, thus reducing the redness and swelling, and making the pimple much less prominent.
- If you want, you can also try applying an anti pimple cream containing salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide however, this should be done only if you have used such a cream before, and know that your skin can handle it. These creams sometimes cause severe dry skin, and you don’t want to end up with a new problem hours before your party.
