Get Rid Of Acne Scars | Remove Acne Scar Naturally

Acne vulgaris, more simply acne, is a problem very common in adolescents. Though the problem generally subsides as teenagers grow up, it sometimes leaves behind marks and stretched pores on the face, especially if the pimples are squeezed or pricked. The scars are darker, deeper and more lasting if too much pressure has been applied on the pimples.

Home Remedies For Acne Scars Removal

Though getting rid of acne scars completely can be difficult, there are a few easy home remedies to reduce the severity of this problem.

  • Applying lemon juice on the scars lightens them, as it acts as a natural bleaching agent. It also prevents acne from reappearing. If undiluted lemon juice irritates your skin, mix a little water or rose water to it and then apply the mixture. Wash your face after 10-15 minutes. Following this process daily improves the complexion and texture of your skin perceptibly.

  • Apply aloe vera gel on the scars to lighten them.

  • Make a paste by mixing sandalwood powder, rose water and a few drops of lime juice and apply this on the face. Wash your face with cold water once it dries.

  • Cucumber juice is known to naturally tone up the skin and bring a healthy glow to it. Apply mashed or grated cucumber on your face every day. This reduces marks and pores left behind by acne to a great extent.

  • You could also add a few drops of honey to the pulp of an apple and use this as face pack. Wash your face after it dries.

  • Soak eight almonds overnight with fresh cream. Grind this into a fine paste and apply on your face before going to bed. This reduces marks and pores considerably.

  • Alternatively, make a natural face scrub by mixing together oatmeal, tomato juice and yoghurt. Apply this on your face and leave it on till it dries. Wash it off with cold water. This evens out the irregularities on the surface of the skin, producing a marked lightening of scars.

  • You may also apply mashed papaya, tomato juice, egg white or salted butter on your face. Each of these tones the skin naturally and makes it look smoother and healthier.

  • For another remedy, mix oatmeal, gram flour, rose water, lemon juice and yoghurt and apply this paste on your face. Wash your face gently with cold water after sometime.

  • A face mask made by mixing corn flour and egg white also prevents the appearance of pimples and gives the skin a smooth texture.
