Mask Recipes For Nourishment for Damaged Hair

Most of the time hair gets damaged due to constant exposure to extreme conditions. These conditions could be either the weather or even the treatment you give your hair. The direct hot sun and pollution make hair dry and brittle. The use of chemical based shampoos and hair dyes; over use of equipment like blowers, dryers, curlers and irons end up reducing the natural texture of the hair. Most of these conditions stem from damaged hair as such type of hair fails to retain the nourishment to grow stronger. You could apply some homemade hair mask regularly so that it would help to gradually bring back the nourishment your hair has lost. One of the simplest homemade hair masks for dry hair is using 1 egg yolk, one cup of milk and half a teaspoon of rosewater. First beat the egg yolk in a mixing bowl until it is light and fluffy then add the cup of milk to it slowly while beating the egg yolk all the time. Then add in the rosewater and mix it thoroughly. Apply this mixture on to your hair from the scalp till the tip of your hair and leave it on for 30 minutes and then rinse and wash it off completely. Another easy homemade hair mask for damaged hair can be made using half a cup of bananas, quarter cup of avocado, 1 tablespoon of fresh yogurt, 1 tablespoon of almond oil and one vitamin E capsule. In a bowl mash the bananas and the avocado together; when it is completely mashed you can add the fresh yogurt and almond oil. After mixing this fruit mixture well squeeze the Vitamin E capsule into that. Then apply it on your hair and leave it for about 45 minutes, then rinse it off completely. To make a homemade hydrating hair mask you could use together 1 teaspoon of honey, 2 teaspoons of olive oil and some apple cider vinegar. Mix all of this is a bowl and divide your hair with a comb and thoroughly apply it all over. You could try applying these hair masks once or twice every week so that your hair can get back the bounce and lustre it had lost.
